pad question

I wanna see what kinda crap I can get for this, or get a good pat on the back for it being ok that it took me so long to think about it already. So anyways, has anyone trimmed down their 6.5" pads to just with width of the velcro?

is this a question that you are all just laughing at when reading, or are you trying to come back with a respectable response? I'm being serious with this question, mainly wanting to know if the edge being at more of a 90 would scratch the paint some how, or would you recommend some way to curve the edge's.

I've never tried it but it wouldn't hurt to try if you don't mind compromising your pad if it doesn't work out okay. It'd be more beneficial for you if you're using the PC or other random orbital machine but if you're using a smaller pad on a rotary, you'll have less cutting power.

it would be for my g110. I would make sure I was using a new blade on my Olfa razor blade I have. I figured you would be one of the first to chime in, thanks!!!

one reason why I was asking is because the local parts store has some older 8" pads that are on clearence, and I don't want to use an 8" bad on a G110.

Ah I see, it's a worth a shot if they're cheap.
