Opti Coat 2.0 or CQuartz

I am debating between coating my car in opti-coat or CQuartz. What do you guys think, do any of you have experience with either ?

Similar 'look' and protection but OPT Opti-Coat is far more durable (measured in years not months)

No experience with either but how is your paint condition? Your going to want it near perfect ... no hazing, swirling, holograms etc.... neither will remove them and you don't want to seal them under it.

Opti-Coat. It is as advertised. Optimum invented a miracle product.

Currently have it on my car. CU2MIKE applied it for me when my car was a week old. It really is great. I guarantee, absolutely no swirls. It's been 6 months. Bird droppings wash off with ease. This and ONR are the greatest thing ever. I can wash all day, using the 1 bucket method, and my paint doesn't swirl.

As far as I know, I will never need to take a DA to my car's paint again. Ever.

These coating products are scratch resistant not scratch proof, so don't throw away your polisher and abrasives just yet

That's correct. Hopefully, by the way I wash my car, I won't need to.

I know I said I can wash my car using the 1 bucket method, but in practice, I always use the 3 bucket method, or ONR.

My paint is in perfect condition, but if I do go through with the Opti-Coat i will probably polish it one more time with Menzerna P085. Though I still haven't decided what I will do cause I just ordered some Dodo juice purple haze wax to give a try on my ABP paint.

Finally coated my car with the Opti- Coat, it is great after I let it cure I had to take the hose to it to see how well it beaded water. It beads amazingly, and is much more scratch resistant than our soft Acura paint. The application wasn't too hard either.

Glad you did it bud, enjoy years of being free from having to wax the car, lol.

I need to get this so I can offer it to customers. But, I'm just not yet interested in using it on my car as I enjoy trying different waxes, sealants, etc.
