111 is your sealant! Sealants are always a LSP (Last Stage Protectant)
Why are you using the compound?

Why are you using the compound?

Doing my Spring clean/detail. Is the compound not needed?

What color paint? Do you have a lighter polish on hand also? What color pads available?

Paint is White Diamond Pearl. I have for pads red, orange and black.

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! That is one of the most beautiful colors on the road! I just wish you had the polish with the compound. You only need the compound if the swirls are on the heavy side. Sometimes when using the compound (especially on darker colors) you would/may need to follow up with the polish.
I think at this point, try the compound with the orange, low speeds, like 4. Take your time and finish the compound out, MINIMUM 4 passes. Give it a good wipedown, inspect in the light and see if you detect any holograms (ghosting). If not, proceed with the 111. If you see some, shoot me an email or PM, postpone your detail, and I will ship you out 4oz of polish

Okay, did a thin coat of the Optimum compound and then once over with the Duragloss 111. Awesome results. Thanks again Patrick.
