What if anything happens to "old" ZFX'd Z-2 and Z-5. I e-mailed Zaino and they said to throw it away without telling me why. It's been mixed for about a week in the mixing bottles. What if anything will happen if I use it on the car?

 

Yea if you didn't clean it out of the mixing bottle, throw the bottle away. The "flash cure" has already expired on that Zaino and cannot be used as also the bottle.

 

what is the flash cure and what does it do that I can't use the product or the bottle?

 

The ZFX is an accelerator additive that is used to speed up the drying time (FLASH CURE) of the Z2 ,Z3 or Z5 Zaino polish when mixed with any of them. After 12hours it is imposible to remove all the ZFX mixed polish from the bottles. It says for best results you should use the mix within 6hours after mixing with polish.
My guess is that the mix just sets up & starts to cure in the bottle after so much time. This is why they say to rinse the bottles with dishwashing detergent thoroughly. This should remove all the mixed polish if its done before the 12hour time.

 

My question is, does it hurt the finish to use "old" ZFX'd Zaino,and if so what does it do?
