Okay, major detailing purchase being made, ASAP...
What products do you all suggest?
I'll be using the PC 7424 to remove the swirls and then apply the wax. I used Zaino in the past, I liked it, but it definitely didn't remove swirl. And since I've got the PC 7424 I wanna try something new other than Zaino.
Now I'm either going to use Meguiar's #9 or #80 or 3M Swirl Remover.
But what other products should I use? Compound? Wax? Thanks guys...

Id start with #80, failry light SMR, excellent cleaner, does leave a little oil behind, but not bad at all, should readily accept any polymer without any ill effects.....

yeah, start with #80 if you already have it on hand. but if you'd like to try some different products you could try Einszettes PP(paint polish) or MP (metallic polish), or Menzerna polishes and 3M and Four Star SMR. All work extremely well with the PC.

3M makes a product called 'Finesse It' that removes swirls with no wax or silicone residue.
It fits somewhere between a light compound and a polish.

Good job, let me know how you like the 3M SMR.
Hey, you gonna go to that hooters meet on Tues? I'm in town and will be showing up
which pads did you order? If you get the red pad, can you bring it w/ you? I'd love to take a look at it!

My nighthawk black is a bitch to keep clean and keep it swirl free, so I'll see what I can do.

If your using a clay bar and SMR, dont worry about wax removal...it'll happen with those two products.....Clay will remove sealant, SMR to a greater degree though....
