Oh no! permanent waterspot?

hi folks,

I washed my car in the middle of the nite last nite. When I was drying with my chemoise, I noticed I had what appeared to be permanent water spots...they look like spots that have gone through the clear coat or something..

So my question is, what does it take to get rid of these spots? Buffing? and household solvents? I heard something like vinegar..hmm?

I don't think i wana try applying zaino at this time.

thx,

Kvit

Yeah try 50/50 vinegar and water. It should take them out.

I thought the vinegar/water mix was for hard/acidic water spots on your windsheild?! You may want to double check that one, 'cause I'm not sure what that may do to your paint, if anything.

I had a gum stuck on the left side of the car. I used kerosin and that place became non-reflective but I got rid off that gum waving lines . After I waxed the place, it looked the same way as the rest.

Hope it helps.

You can try the vinegar/water solution, but if it gets into the clear coat, you may have to do some polishing.

Sorry, but kerosene is not the product to use for removing precipitates (that result from the lousy water [full of all kinds of different minerals] and acid raid...
