Officially The Best Tire Shine Product

Ok guys, I know that this may be hard to believe, but I found the best tire shine/protectant out there: Turtle Wax's Platinum Tire Gel. It's on sale for $8.50 at AutoZone and come with the jar and applicator in an ergonomic container.

TurtleWax site

My observations after 50 (25 of which were in the FL rain) miles:
-No sling on panels,
-No runoff/drip on tires
-Live in FL and was about 10 minutes of heavy downpour, tires showed NO sign of relief of shine
-Very deep, reflective shine
-Mainly silicone, no petroleum base so it doesnt eat your tires away

If any of yall have been as set on finding a decent tire product as me, you will be pleased.

I personally like (and have for years) Black Magic Tire Wet or whatever it's called. I spray it on and use an Eagle One Tire Swipe to give it the "deep black" look instead of the "glossy" look.

It lasts for quite a while unless you get into a dusty area.

I'm going to pick up some today. I've been searching for something with incredible shine as well as stay-put ability that doesn't sling all over the car.

Meguiars tire shine is my favorite. It has all the factors we include when we purchase tire shine products: Easy to apply, long lasting shine, and quality!

All three black magic spray foams, megs endurance, megs tire shine, NXT, and the synthetic turtle wax (cant think of the name right now).

the only other product I can give props to is the turtle wax 2001 formula foam. the only thing with that is the can doesnt last long, supplies are extremely rare, and with it being a foam, you wouldnt think that you need to wipe it down...nevertheless, its avery good product if you can find it.

either way, major to the new turtle wax platinum gel

I went to the Advanced Auto Parts here locally and they were out. Although I did pick up some of the new Ice for my father. I'll continue looking. Thanks.

Alright, I picked some up today at O'Reilly's and so far, it looks good. I already had stuff on my TSX so I tried it on my VW Passat and it looks pretty good. I'm going to give it about 20 minutes to settle and see what I think. Thanks for bringing this product to light.

I like the Black Magic foam. It has a deep shine and is pretty long lasting. I tried BM tire wet and didn't like it as much. Not as deep a shine and not nearly as long lasting as the foam.
