I've used it too and noticed the same thing. But go ahead and throw some water on there and watch it bead up. Or try the flush it with water technique and it will amost dry by itself. I think that means that the wax is still there. I've had it last about 3 months.

Even though it doesn't feel like it, there is still a layer of protection there. I think Meguiar's made the NXT spray wax for that reason. The NXT spray wax is like a "watered down" Tech Wax, when it is applied it hazes and has to be buffed off. Very different than their Quik Detail spray, the detail spray can be sprayed on and a couple of wipes later it's gone. The Tech wax is called a "booster wax", it does a much better job on the car than the Quik Detail or other the typical "spray on" waxes.

I like NXT, and am aware of durability issues, however from one wash to another ? I seriously doubt your *unprotected*....I, however, do not care for the booster wax, i feel you can get better results with Eagle One WAUD, with less work. I still have haze on my white car from the last time i used it, needless to say, i probably wont be using it again. Im concerned about the bonding aspect when you applied your initial NXT. Im wondering if your surface was properly prepared and free of any other wax or sealant, prior to the initial application.

The NXT booster wax is hard to remove but it works great.

was the car properly prepped before hand, sometimes polymers have a hard time attaching to dirty surfaces.

I just wrapped up an 8 week test on my girlfriends silver accord w/ one coat of NXT. The car still beaded up great and was relatively smooth for being 8 weeks. The car is outside 24/7.
