Not many people look at detailing section
Not many people view detailing section so I wanted to post these questions on car talk, so I can get quicker response. Mods if this is a problem, you can go move it back to detailing. Sorry
Part 1 ---WAX
I have used Zaino and have been impressed by it, but it is time to move on. I would like something a little more price effective/time efficient. Therefore, I have decided that it has to be some wax that they sale at retail shops, and is less expensive than Zaino. I am looking to the next best alternative that offers protection/shine like Zaino, but a little more cost effective. I also want a wax that I can apply on and then buff off, because with ZFX you still have to wait 20 minutes in between coats. I have heard liquid glass is good, and also pinnacle wax is good as well. I know everyone thinks Zaino is the best, but I would like to try something new. I have approximately 4 coats of Zaino on right now, and would like to get rid of all the layers of wax on my car. Do I just do one car wash using Dawn to get rid of all these layers?
Part 2--- Little Scratches/Swirl Marks/Hard water spots
On my car I have many little scratches, swirl marks, and hard water spots. I have meguiars Scratch X and 3M Swirl Remover, which are both good products, but is there any industrial products or just retail products that perform better? Also, how can I get hard water spots out of my paint, they seem to be stuck in between the coats of wax I have on now, which will be stripped soon?
Part 3-- Interior
I have a lot of wear on my leather already and I am trying to stop some of it from happening so quickly. Walking into a shop and not ordering offline, what is the best interior products to use to help my leather and vinyl looking good.
Part 4--Wheel Gloss
I have some Armor all spray gloss for my wheels which I do not like. It is the spray on and I was wondering what is the best and easiest product to apply onto the wheels to give them that nice new black look.

this is what i have been doing, take it or leave it for whatever it's worth, but i like to wash the car with a whatever car soap, then wax every month or so with liquid glass. in between waxings, i like to use maguire's quick detail spray.
if you got all the dry water spots, you might want to try claying the ride. someone might have a better method, i have never had water spots that have been difficult to remove. if it's on glass, you can wash it first then go over it with 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar, worked for me.
for tire dressing i like black magic gel, not the spray crap. the gel sticks for a while.
as for the interior i don't know what you can do if it's worn. i am trying to find a good conditioner myself. i had some spray crap, but over spray gets all up in the windows, and stuff.
hope that helps.

1) Liquid Glass...Excellent shine & cheap.
2) should probably get a good buffing done.
3) Lexol works great.
4) Black Magic is pretty good for the rubber.

For my interior i use a mild degressor that has the citric acid in it. I delute it with water 1/10 ratio and wipe down the seats. Then I use armor all leather care to condition my seats. I repeat this process every month.

no smell....cleans very well and conditions the leather like new. no oily feel or look. The color is would be best descibered as the way you bought the car....unlike the dreaded armour all that makes it pitch black and then you can tell when its wearing off...
I dont know if its sold in stores...I buy all my stuff direct...but a detail shop my might carry it since it goes along with the Professional series
