New Optimum Opti Clean Waterless Car Wash

With everyone else on the "No Water" bandwagon, Optimum finally came out with their own waterless version. WCDS welcomes Optimum's Opti Clean Waterless Wash

You may be asking why the waterless product when I have NRWS? Opti Clean is made with some of NRWS technology........and more. Water is used as a carrier with NRWS, Opti Clean uses additional polymers that add greater lubricity and protection to the paint. Simply spray Optimum Opti-Clean on any surface and wipe off with a plush microfiber towel till the area is clean and dry. It is designed to wipe away dirt and grime from automotive paint and other surfaces safely and effectively in a spray and wipe application.
Ever wish you had easy access to the perfect concentration of cleaners and protectants, right in your trunk? Now you can, at under $9.00.
Save on shipping and wait until you're ready for other items in your cart. Its not a "run out and grab" product, but it's one you won't want to "run out of"......Another solid product from Optimum Polymer Technologies......

Ive been testing Waterless for a couple years now, HD, CG's, Freedom, Prolong, now Optimum. Ultima is next, just released today. Will probably add that along with the Ultima Sealant as I have heard SUPER comments about both of those items.....

How will it work on heavier deposits? Like hard dirt on lower panels? Not really something that comes off easily without a full wash.

I would spray some APC on those panels first, then probably an ONR presoak @ QD strength to be on the safe side.........

Theres no magic for heavy deposits. Pre soak, pre rinse with a 1 Gal sprayer or use traditional wash methods.

These waterless solutions sound very tempting, but they worry me that I would be doing more harm then good...even with very minimal dirt/dust. I got in on that Prolong deal not too long ago with the free waterless wash. I tried it out once, but just feel the "normal" wash to be a safer bet.

I dunno....I could be wrong or just overly cautious

Honestly, the ONR is a great system. When done weekly it takes no time to clean the car. I just bought the new formula, for 45 shipped. 1 gal should around 2 years.

Just keep in perspective the design and intent of the product. NOTHING replaces a full flush and wash, no doubt. I would imagine a step beyond would be the flush and NRWS!
Aint it fun to play around with all the products though? Reminds me I have two trucks that need washings! So do I pre treat and NRWS? Or go traditional.....decisions.....or do I take the OptiClean to the max?
