Need help!

Hi guys... yesterday morning, some punk kids in my neighborhood decided it was funny to drip motor oil all over the front of my grille (which I just had painted a few months ago) and after trying to wash it off, there's like a grease stain on the paint..

Any ideas on how I can get rid of this?

Don't be scared to wash it with Dawn etc .. if the grill is a matte finish it might take a little doing ... after the wash if the stain is still there try rubbing alcohol .. it won't bother the paint if its not rattle can.

It's a OEM paint job for the grille. I'm going to try Scratch X and if that doesnt work, then rubbing alcohol.

Why do we always see this? Ask for advice then do something different .. ScratchX is for just that .. minor scratches ... you don't have those. ColorX would be a better choise if your going to go that way.

As ironic as this sounds, I hear WD-40 is also a pretty effective cleaner.

In this case it would leave some residue behind because WD-40 displaces water, not oil. Use Dawn or some dish soap designed to cut grease/oil!
