Need Help

Hey Guys I need help.

I attempted to detail my wife's Black 03 Nissan 350Z. I washed with two buckets using A Shampoo from the Chemical Guys sight. I dried the car. Took into the Garage and clayed it with a Wolfgang Clay kit that I got from Autogeek. I then used Wolfgang Paint Sealant and finally Natty Poorboys Blue. The Natty was the only step that I did outside. The hood, roof and rear still have water spots and swirls. I dried the car fast. I had two California Blades and my wife helped dry. What am I missing. I really saw the flaws when I went to get gas the other night and saw the car under the Stadium like lights at the station. Help!!!!

P.S. I used all microfiber towels as well....

That's because you didn't use a swirl remover by PC. I use Poorboy's SSR2.5 and a medium cut pad to get rid of swirls and waterspots. If it is black, I follow up with SSR1 and a polishing pad. After that do I use paint sealant.

Ok!

I thought that the claying process would have removed at least the water spots though. I did think about using a Swirl Remover. I also some of the Haze that you guys talk about. The car is black.

Yep, that's what you left out. Claying is usually the second step in the process. Polishing will clean and remove surface defects such as swirls and light scratches. In addition, it will improve reflectivity and gloss. Here's a good reference for polishing.
