My 1st experience with Optimum NRWS

So I have had a bottle of NRWS that I got for free as a deal exceldetail was having months ago when I made a purchase from him. Finally decided to give it a try after all the good things I have heard about it.

I am still a noob when it comes to detailing, but I need to get started sometime. Please...ALL feedback is welcome!

Here are two before pics. My car was really dirty from the snow/ice we recently had. The night before I took it to a car wash to hit it with high pressure water to get rid of the extreme build up.

Moving on to the next day after all the build up is gone, here is a couple of my pre-treat

I used the two bucket method with a sheepskin wash mit and here are the final pics...

Like everyone has said before, GREAT product!!!

Thanks!

Not sure if it takes off any waxes...I doubt it though, but let's see if any of the pros would know for sure.

I use it mixed with my reg wash soap for a lubricant and it doesn't remove sealants .... BTW Zaino is a sealant not a wax ..

Yep, ONR doesn't remove any LSP's. However, it may add to them though with its polymers.

I almost used mine yesterday but 55 was too warm to try it, so just used the regular wash method. saving the NRWS for the cold washes. Although I thought about putting a capfull in with my regular wash, but I didn't. nice to see it doing so well.

After using it, I am considering using it more than the regular wash method once nice weather hits. It's so simple and uses way less water, which makes me want to use it more. As long as I maintain keeping my car fairly clean during the nice weather, I will use NRWS most of the time and go back to the regular method every now and then.

NRWS will be the only thing my car sees...ever. Through summer, winter, spring, and fall.

That's not mainly due to preference, but it's just the only way to properly wash my car given my conditions; but it makes me happy.

i just came back from back from a few days in Vermont and my Sequoia was caked with salt spray, grime and whatever else is on the road. it was really caked on good. I sprayed on the ONRWS using a gallon sprayer and then used a bucket with 1oz of the product and 1 gallon of water. That one gallon lasted about half the car (water and rag were black) so I had to use a second gallon.

Car looks great, but I can see that the one drawback of solely using ONRWS is that you can't clean the undercarriage and wheel wells with it so I'll have to wait a couple of months until I can use the hose to rinse it off.

This product is really great, had I not had it, I would (dread) have to go to the car wash or wait for a warm day to rinse it off.

See how great it is? I always have to comment on NRWS threads It's by far my favorite product, especially being in the Chicagoland area, we get our share of salt sprayed all over the car winter round.

But now the only problem is, I won't be the only one with a clean car out on the road as more people start discovering NRWS!!

It's just so nice to have a product that allows me to wash my car in the street where I park the CL...

A lot of you guys are blessed to have space and a garage... (And to think I used to take that stuff for granted!)

Have no idea what it's like to live in the densely populated city where even driveways are a major scarcity!

This product seriously answered my prayers!

I had to travel to other cities to ask favors to wash my car at other people's houses! (Got old...real fast!)

So embarassing!

And impossible to maintain any bit of cleanliness!

Now if only they would make a re-chargeable cordless vacuum so I could clean the inside!

Man we're both in the same position! That's the reason why NRWS is the best solution for us. I still go to a parking lot so someone doesn't hit me if I was in the street. I've noticed I've started neglecting the interior now.....lol.

Hey Noah, they make vacuums that plug in to your cigarette lighter.

For vacuuming, I still go to the car wash/gas station. I have one of those DC-outlet-based vacuums but it doesn't "suck" as good as the one at the car wash/gas station. The portable one works well for "touching up" but if you have a lot to do, I'd just go to the car wash/gas station and use theirs for 50-75 cents.

This product is so good that I'm tempted to use it right now even though it's been raining here all week . In regards to vacuuming, I use a Rainbow vacuum that my mom bought many years ago. They're very expensive but powerful!
