P.O. overlapped some wax on the plastic moldings on the sides of car. Its not alot but noticable. Will this product remove the "overlap of wax" on trim and restore. I've used that Mothers forever black and the first time it rained it streaked and looked awful.

So do we have any other reviews besides TOGWT's review? I wanna know if this stuff actually works besides reading what the manufacturer has to say (no offense Patrick). I realized the TL does have some black plastic by the wipers which I completely forgot about

Fulani, I can say it works. It woks like a charm too! I have to stress though its not a miracle product. I had better results and better durability after the second app a couple weeks later. I would imagine if I gave it one more coat, I would be set for at least several months of washes.
The first app looked great for about 10-14 days, but i noticed some of the more oxidized areas were starting to show. But after the second app about 14-21 days ago, there is no sign of fading. I think what I will do is, after my next wash in a week or two (Hey I dont have a lot of time on my hands!) I'll give it another application and kind of "seal the deal"......It is by far the best trim restorer I have used to date. Four Star Tire Gel worked real well also on trim pieces. What it lacked was the dust resistance like BW provides. If theres any dust attraction with BW, its very easily wiped away. Doesnt leave a greasy feeling at all. Im pretty stoked about it, plus one bottle will certainly last the lifetime of your own personal vehicle. I have used it to seal up both trucks I won, and have probably used no more then 1/2 oz combined. Matter of fact, the inventor said not to really expect resells to past customers as it last so long.

I just gave my Black WOW sample a try on the TL .. Very different to apply .. I used a small portion of a yellow kitchen sponge to apply it.
Went on easy and needed to be "massaged" in as opposed to rubbed on. Then I buffed off any excess with a M/F towel. I figured by as little as I used and the massaging there wouldn't be a residue but it did. Not a bad thing at all.
The areas I used it were;
The plastic trim in the wiper area including the portion under the hood.
The grey "V" lower portion of the grill.
The weld strips on the roof.
The wiper arms. ( Only because I got a little on them and it looked good so I did the rest )
Note: these were small areas so I don't know if it would be easy to apply evenly on a larger surface like a textured bumper on a Subaru.
I wash my car a lot, usually every second day, so we will know shortly on the durability.
It gave the plastic in the wiper area a little more depth but its in very good condition so only a minor improvement was seen.
I did leave a small area with no BW for a reference area to see durability.
From the sample initial use .. would I buy a bottle .. Yes. Lets see what the durability is and I'll tell you if I'll order one.

^^ Those are the exact places I was thinking about using it. Keep us updated on the durability. Also did you get any onto the paint? If so was it easy to remove? or did you tape off the areas?

Got just a little on the window and it wiped up with a clean M/F. Applying as many dressings as I do I find it pretty easy to apply any of them without getting it all over.
I washed my hands just before supper and again after and I can still feel it on my fingers.

go find someone with messed up black trim.... u know the guys that are super faded trim pieces... slap some on and take some pictures of those results...

Black Wow on the C pillar of an 02 Audi.
looks great but I don't think I'd use it in that confined an area as it was a bitch to remove any I got on the paint or glass and to mask on a customers car is too time consuming and costly.
I think it would be great on bigger areas.

^^ id say should pick it up. i finally got to use it on one of my quik-wash cars and the owner noticed emmediately. ive had it on my own car for about 2 weeks and i just forgot to write about it. its a great product and it doesnt fade or get firm quickly. kind of like it makes rubber trim brand new. it works wonders along the sun roof rubber and even stopped my squeek.

Well I had a chance to clean up the ride yesterday and used the BlackWow and it looks amazing on everything I put it on. I put it on the black rough trim pieces that the wipers come off on the 3rd gen TL's and they look new.
It also covers up residue left behind from polishing that gets on black trim. I had some streaks that were milky from the Four Star Body Shop Swirl Mark Remover and it made those disappear and jet black again.
I will definately buy a bottle once my sample runs out

Masked off my sunroof and used it today on the rubber .. really brought it up nice. Actually masked the glass and poked the card that came with it down the crack between the rubber and the paint and slid it along as I applied it . No cleanup.
I'll keep you updated.
And yes I'll buy one .. Need to fill a few other voids in my supplies first.
