Post MING'd the TSX

So, as many of you know, my cgp TSX was swirled all to hell. I took it through a machine car wash, and i was new to dark cars, and didnt realize that this would severely swirl my poor baby's soft paint. I, being the obsessive compulsive that i am about my car, decided i HAD to do something about it that would eliminate them. Simply waxing it and "Hiding" them was not going to do it for me. Then i found MING. (http://members.ais.net.au/ming/paint.htm) a short description, but it will give you an idea. It took the MING guy about 6+ hours to do the tsx, with a grand total at 200$. WAS IT WORTH IT! Every single swirl and imperfection in my paint is GONE. The paint looks brand new, as if i just drove it off the show-room floor, and the best part is, he guarantees/warranty's it for FIVE years. I've got some crappy camera phone pics now, but ill get some better ones up here later. I suggest anyone who is in the pits about their car being swirled to give this a try.

Hmm...and where'd you find the guy to do this? Seems like a cost effective way to fix the problem.

Apparently you would still have to wash the vehicle. It's common knowledge that washing combined with poor techniques and improper equipment can cause swirls. Will Ming prevent swirls?

There are several other manufacturers/products having similar claims. One example is Diamond Gloss from Ziebart. Another one is 5 Star Shine.

This is not a slam, just pointing out similarities. The "never wax again" always gets me. If it's that great of a product, why isn't everyone using it? Hey, if you're happy and satisfied with the results, that's all that matters.

i absolutely abhor machine car washes... hell i even abhor those car washes held by high school kids or fraternity places... free or not...i refuse to go there!

have you seen the towels that they use to wipe your car with afterwards? They're like the most abrasive shit ever... as if the wash wasn't even..they go and wipe your car down with stiff/used/unclean towels... you're bound to get scratches and swirls from those....

wash your own car and only use microfiber towers to wipe!
