Meguir's paste wax?

People keep refering to their waxes by numbers so I need a little help. I thought about picking up a paste form of Meguirs at Pep Boys because they last for quite a while and it's easier for me to apply. This paste form any good?

Better than nothing. Go to Autopia.com to learn about better paint protection.

Here's the reason I said that. You're going to spend some money and expend some calories applying the product anyway. For a few more dollars and not that much more work, you get more protection and a shinier ride. I have been doing exactly what you are looking at. Meguires gel soap, paint cleaner, and gold class wax. All good stuff but it only lasts 4 to 5 weeks. Whereas a polymer such a Blackfire or Zaino would last 4 or 5 months. I'm just starting to research and collect the required stuff, microfiber towels should arrive today. I'm surprised other more knowledgable members haven't chimed in but this is how I see it. Punch Zaino into the search engine and/or look at the cars that have these products applied and you'll see. Good luck.

I'm here...if your looking for a local, good paste wax, do not get #26 or GC paste. I would highly reccommend S100, it's the motorcylce wax variant of P21S, they are both the same thing just in diff. cans. You can pick it up at your local HD dealer, it's about $15. S100 is a straight wax and will only last max 4 weeks, where as #26 will last longer. But S100 is a lot easier to use and gives a better shine. If you don't always keep your car clean, I would suggest the Polymer Zaino or Klasse. With Klasse you can also top it with S100 to give it that wet look with protection still. PM me if you have any more ?'s.

Have fun BC, waffleweaves are awesome to dry with...
