Anyone tried Meguiar's Ultimate Polish?
I'm going to hand apply it. What are the chances of me fucking up? I'm going to use a yellow foam applicator. I just have to make sure it does not dry right?

Give it moderate pressure, work it in and then wipe it off with a cobra miracle microfiber towel.

 

What are you trying to accomplish?

 

not to remove swirls but to maybe get some of that scratchX that's still on my paint off. also maybe to make the car a bit more shinier.

 

How big an area are we talking about? You mentioned this in a different thread and you still haven't go it off?

I have ScratchX in the shop and I intentionally went and gobbed it on a panel on my neighbors POS and left it there in the sun for 2 days and I went out and removed it without much of an issue.

Are you sure you aren't talking about hazing you created using the ScratchX not residue left over?

 

honestly, i don't know what it is. all i know is that i applied it in the garage and worked it with my hand for about 10-20 seconds. when i wiped off the product, it left a film on the paint.

i haven't had the time to try it out (using UP). i will soon though.
