Meguiars Cleaner wax.. is it all in one?

Is this a one step product that includes cleaner, polisher and wax?? Im just starting off with buffing and i think this would be a good product to learn with.

Well, it is true, it is an AIO. Pretty much everything you wanna know, I can tell you. Works great on new cars in great condition. If you're looking for "cleaning" power, its not going to cut it. If you're looking for polishing power, its not going to "polish" very well. If you're looking Nuba protection, expect 3 weeks, or two washes......
Its a very generic OTC product, designed for the DIY'r.
If you're using a PC with it, you are probably relying on the pad selection more so then the cleaning/polishing powers it beholds.

Since Im new at this, I rather learn with products that cost less, would the Meguiars deep crystal paint cleaner, deep crystal polish, and deep crystal carnauba wax be the better choice?

At under $10.00 a pint, hard to find something for less! Also consider the valuable information one can learn vs. the $ spent.
The Megs 3 step pretty much breaks down the Megs #6 into 3 categories, paint cleaning, polishing and protection. again a cheap OTC product, but a step ahead......

Optimum Poli-Seal is about this best All in one you will find for the TL. It does some polishing and sealing. I would still recommend at least a spray wax on top, or at the very least, whatever quick detailer you use. I personally use the OPT Poli-Seal on my car. Here is a link to it. At $15.99 for 32oz its a good deal!

The most aggressive AIO that Meguiars offers is the D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream. It is a product that is marketed to be a one-step solution to high-volume reconditioning facilities. Over on MOL, it has been reported that the cutting ability of D151 is above M205. At about $35/gal, it is a steal.

we were all new at one time or another....

i dont care how new you are, none of these products are going to yield the results you are looking for, and there are other products out there that will work easier for the novice/beginner....optimum is one that comes to mind....

what kind of machine are you going to be using...

What about Zymol cleaner wax? That stuff is also relatively inexpensive and can be found at autozone.
