Meguiars #80 & #83

i wanna know which product is more effective to remove swirls and remove contaminants in the paint like those deep incrusted water spots in the paint.

thanks
83 seems to be more effective but a bit trickier to remove.

Both products will remove swirls. I recommend using the least abraisive product first and then evaluate the results. Start with a 1-2 square foot test area. Note that #80 is a cleaner/polish that contains polishing oils while the #83 is more of a pure cleaner. However, you may put on a wax right after the #83 with good results. The test spot is key! It can prevent you from completing your car only to find that the results are not what you wanted. If you are using a PC then these two products can be the foundation of your car care system.

Water spots can be very tricky. You may try some dilute vinegar on a test spot to see if the spots dissolve.

ill get #83 since im sealing my paint and adding final wax, how much should i diluate the vineagar? 50%???
