Meguair's Quick Detail Mist

Hello, all. I just cleaned/waxed my formal black MDX 2007. But after a trip to MD last night, the car is now covered with rain spots, pollen, and bird crap. Is it safe to use Meguiar's Quick Detailer Mist to maintain my wax and clean the lightly dusted exterior without entirely washing the car over again? Should I use the California Duster to dust the pollen/dust first before cleaning it with QD? Thanks in adv.

loving my X so far!

I think this thread is similar to the situation you're faced with minus the bird poop. Lots of alternatives available as well as advice. Personally, I would opt for a quick wash to cleanse the surface and follow with a product like DG AW while drying. A QD was designed for trouble spots and very light dusting and not intended to replace a quick wash if needed.

I couldn't agree more! Pick up some ONR if you're not trying to lug out the hose every time. I haven't used regular car wash since I received my ONR in the mail.
