but can someone explain to me what "uncoated wheels" are. I'm getting this free with my purchase, and it says do not use on uncoated wheels...but then i read the reviews and i see someone says "but I find I use it more to remove grime from tires & wheel wells" which confuses me:

It basically means its raw metal with a finished surface. Keep acidic based cleaners away from them. Stoners tarminator (IMO) has an atrocious smell!

 

so is it safe to use on stock rims on the TL?

Do you have tar on your wheels? Mineral sprits does a great job on tar .
