Matte Black
Matte Black
Dont pay to much attention to how dirty my car is in this pic. That was the last day of sitting in the middle of a camping field at Petit Le Mans. Just showing the wheels on the car.
Here is my question: These wheels are a Matte Black wheel and they have lost their luster. I know they are not supposed to be extremely shiny, but I want them to look a little more fresh. I scrub, and scrub to get the black clean and when it dries it still seems to be dull and have what looks like dirt still there. What is my best option to clean/and possibly polish these guys. Im not sure if it is that I am not using the best chemicals, or if it is the fact that i am using my microfiber wash mitt and easy detail brush to clean it with. Thanks for the help guys.

Trouble with matte black wheels is people don't clean them well and the brake dust attacks the surface. Dunno what to suggest. Brake dust if neglected on the wheels and exposed to moisture will attack the wheel surface especially in those areas between the spokes.
Not really sure it is brake dust, I guess that is possible. But I clean my car quite regularly. And I am big about keepin my wheels clean, basically "The car can be filthy but as long as you got the shoes clean, its still Bossy"
