Marks on dashboard

I tried wiping down the top of the dashboard with a damp towel and it left all these white marks in the vinyl. Now what??? Should I try Armor All, will this clean the surface. What is the material anyway? What should I use to clean it?
Any suggestions, much appreciated!

White marks? Do you know what caused the white marks? Are they leftovers of some product or discolorations in the dash?

Armor all probably won't help, its just a dressing not a cleaner (and a lousy one at that, too shiny )

I've had good luck with 303 applied with an MF pad then wiped off with a MF towel. Cleans and protects and ... for the benefit of beetroot .. nice matt finish!

RE: the white marks on dashboard

There may have been some Zaino residue on the towel.

If you can get it... I would use 303 cleaner to try and remove the marks, then 303 protectant after that. All of the 303 products are stupendous.
