Lots of small scratches
and a patch of missing paint on my bumper , about 2 inches big. It looks ugly as hell. The paint doesn't shine anywhere near the way it used to.. Help.
would a full detail job help. any steps or ways i could resolve this bymyself.

a patch of missing paint, wtf ?!?I'm thinking other than a new painted bumper, I don't think anything will bring the paint back (this applies only if you did not word incorrectly

You can try touch up paint. Wet sanding, and then compounding, and then polish, and then waxing. That might bring it up where it be acceptable. I have done some "miricles with my friends cars" They don't look new but it not something you be embrassed about.
