light scratch on windshield

New TSX has faint scratch on the windshield - prob a tiny bit of debris fell onto the wiper blade and it scratched the windshield on next use. It's in a nice arc shape. While it's just an annoyance, it is in my field of view - is there anything I can do? Is there anything a "pro" glass place can do that won't scratch/distort the glass around the scratch? Thanks!

Before you go to a glass shop there are a few tricks you can try, depending on how deep the scratch is these might help out.
#1. Before you wash, clay the entire windshield
#2. Use #0000 steel wool on entire winshield and use a glass cleaner as a lube. This will also remove any water spots that you may have had difficulty with in the past.
#3. There are many companies that make glass polish. If you have a PC then try a glass polish with a yellow pad at speed 5 and work until it flashes or hazes.

If the scratch is too deep than a winshield repair shop may be the only fix. It dependes on what state you live in, but here in Florida our insurance will repair for free with no deductible any damage to winshields.

Thanks! I'll try #2. It seems to be a very shallow scratch - just very long. Can barely feel it with my fingernail, so i'll try a spot on the scratch close to the pillar or hood with this method and see how it goes.
