I've had the same license plate for at least 16 years and it shows it. Any good chemicals out there that will restore the look? It's a white plate with green letter/number (MA plate).

 

Order a new set of plates with the same plate #.

 

I thought of doing that but that means I'd have to get a front plate too. Right now I only have one plate. New plates mean two plates. :thumbsdn:

 

So you have two....then when the new one looks bad...you have the other! Thats what I do!

 

I'm not sure but I think a MA law requires you to display two plates when you are issued two plate. The new plates are red/white/blue and my current are white/green. If a trooper see's no front plate and a red/white/blue rear plate, I think I'd be fined.

You are right. The red plates require you to have both front and back. The green plates (like I have too) only require the back plate. I won't be giving up my green plate without a fight even though mine look like cr@p too.

I don't know what the fine would be but it isn't worth risking it in my opinion.
