Any leather cleaner/conditioner Needs to be applied on a clean surface. Make sure your leather is clean to start. You can use a simple damp rag in a pail of warm water with a very tiny amount of degreaser. Like a girl washes her face before putting on make up.
So, you have this Lexol cleaner/conditioner. By no means do I intend to

Sorry hit reply by accident..
I have no intention to trash Lexol cleaner/conditioner. It is a good product, but a good consumer grade product. A professional hair dresser will cringe at the sight of shampoo/conditioner hair products. So will a really good auto detailer seeing cleaner/leather conditioner. Cleaning is entirely separate from the conditioning application.. For more reasons this post will relate to. So in simple.
Your lexol product is a really good one. Please do use it as you will find it is convenient and easy to use with a lasting affect.
Do the first thing with a damp rag. Then apply a small amount of conditioner like your cleaning glass and you don't want to get streaks. Don't wipe it off but rather into your leather with a never before used 3 to 5 inch microfiber wax applicator.
Repeat the process a time or two, then apply more to "cover" (not drench) the area enough to leave a faint but subtle shine.
Work in one area at a time. Do your driver seat separate from the center console, separate from your drivers dash. It's not a race. Take your time and you will be very pleased.
I can't stess enough to clean the surfaces before using the product, if your outside it should be a fair day not to hot. Never apply the product in direct sunlight. Ever.
If you thought your seats would look more like the pictures on the bottle please let me know, I would be happy to leave another post and tell you how that's possible. But it will require a few more steps with different products, not very expensive at all products.
