Leather Question
Does anyone know exactly what part of the seat is leather and what part is vinyl. I don't want to put the wrong conditioner on the wrong part. I know the whole seat isn't leather these days. It's a CL-S. Thanks.

You would be safe using leather cleaner/protectant even on vinyl.....Usually the seat area and back panel are leather, and wrap arounds are vinyl......You could always call your local dealer and see what they say....Check your manual for cleaning advice.

Thanks - I also think the seat bottoms and back are all the leather. Dealer didn't seem to know and the manual doesn't say either. Manual says to use saddle soap. Dealer said they put it all over the seats on new cars but it was some new car prep stuff Acura gives them. I'm probably okay using leather stuff all over like you say.

I saw a post somewhere describing how to tell. I tried it and its easy to tell the difference. Use one finger and push in on the part you want to test. If the material has alot of wrinkle lines go outward from you finger tip then it is leather. If it just stretches and stays smooth it is fake leather. I tried it and the front middle and front ends and headrest are leather. The actual sides and back are fake leather. Easy test and works.
