Hey guys,
Today I was using Acura's Leather Cleaner to try and get a some kind of sticky smudge out of my passenger seat and scrubbed for a little while since my towel was getting dirtier. Finally I noticed this:

Instead of dying I assume the painted leather is just sprayed on and I removed that painted layer?

What would be my options on how to fix this, take it to a detailer?

Holy cow, I have never seen anything like that before..you must have been scrubbin your ass off.

 

haha!, not at all, there was already a very small spot like that right by the goop, but I didn't scrub that much at all, that's why it was so weird.

 

will I be able to use a leather repair kit sold online, or anyone know my possible options?

keep scrubbing!! lol I wish I could scrub my car and end up with a black interior.

 

my driver's seat was doing just that from my a$$ and belt rubbing, dealer replaced both seat and seat back over the past year. first they did the seat back, then a couple weeks ago the a$$ seating surface. they claim the seats were neglected so they dried out and cracked off the color.
ask my cat how often i treat my seats, he goes nuts over Zaino leather treater!!
