Leather care that works

Leather care that works
Go to your local supermarket like Walbaums or Shoprite or even Walgreens . Walk down to the shoe cleaning section . Pick up a bottle of mink oil . The shit works wonders , it cleans well , but most of all , your leather looks and feels brand spankin new . Pus it's only like two dollars a bottle . You will need almost an entire bottle though , but only do it once every couple of weeks

Never use Mink oil on clearcoated leather. You are going to eat away at the clearcoat. Mink oil is only for shoes and leather garments that have no clearcoat.
Never use:
Mink oil
Saddle soap
Shoe polish.....

Try not... never use mink oil on suede type leathers , besides CL-S seat are perferated . Use it and see how the leather feels . It makes the leather much softer and more flexible so it doesn't wrinkle with time . Thats all my detailing shop has ever used on every car we do , no complaints , no troubles , cheap , and effective . Try it on something small if you don't believe me

I use Vicker's 3-part system:
1. Is a cleaner -- you only need to use it on stains.
2. Cleaner/conditioner.
3. Protector -- like scotch guard for leather.
The stuff above is made for "top coated" leather (well, the cleaner is made for all leathers).
Leather looks great...

The stuff is for professional detailers... Sorry, no retail outlets...
