Oh and I put it on two days ago, then let it sit for a day, took it off yesterday (klasse sealant). This stuff is incredible, I've never had a better looking shine on a car.

Klasse twins are awesome. With proper prepping, even my 9 year-old car will look like new. Here's a pic:
Hood shots are my all-time fav.
You can get S100 from any Harley dealers.

damn, that looks incredible. how many coats is that?
question....I put on the sealant a couple days ago, without doing the all-in-one first. Is that bad? Should I have done the AIO?

That was only one coat of SG. I have sin layered two more coats of SG and I will finally finish by putting a coat of S100 on top sometime this month or early next month b/c I don't have time to do anything right now.
If your car is brand new, layering only SG will be fine without AIO. If it is an older car, it would be the best if you put on a coat of AIO first, the SG will stick onto it better.

Gold Class is an awesome product, but it only lasts maybe a week at the most in warm weather.
yunginTL, no, S100 doesn't do that. It enhances the SG's gloss. The picture I posted was after Klasse treatment and still hasn't gotten a coat of S100 yet. But anyways, you must prep the car pretty good in order to get a finish like that. You can't just put it on and expect it to look good. You need to clay, swirl mark remover with a orbital buffer, make sure everything looks good before putting the sealants on, makeing it glossy. A typical detail for me is at least 7 hours on the first day. I spent about 10 hours when I detailed mine a couple of weeks ago. It's hard work but totally rewarding.

you let it sit on the car for a day before wipeing off
you aren't suppose to do that are you? I think you are suppose to remove it and let it cure for 24 hours before you put something else on (atleast that's how most sealents are)

Beet, since you are in AZ you should look into a very strong sealent that has a high boiling point. In the summers out htere a carnuba will definately burn off

From Klasse instructions:
Wipe in long, layered strokes and use just a little pressure, it won’t hinder the results. Let the sealant remain on the entire surface area of your vehicle as long as possible before you buff your car. Mist the surface with quick-detailing spray if it resists buffing.

Bearded Root, you're right. In most cases, half an hour is good enough. But it's totally up to you when to buff the SG off, but give at least half an hour for it to cure. After that, you must wait at least 24 hours before layering another coat. So what I usually do is to wash the car again a few days later, provided the weather will be nice. If rain is coming, then I wait about a week or whenever there's a good weather forecast for at least 4 days to do it. So that's why it has been 2 weeks and I still haven't sealed it with S100. I have one more coat of SG to go and S100 afterwards and my detailing will be finally done.

S100 doesn't offer any protection, it just makes your finish to look even deeper and slicker. Once you put that in, it's awesome!!! My green looks insane after you put S100 on.

Don't listen to the back of the bottle. Autogeek and CMA are the people to listen to. They're awesome!!
Here's CMA's version of the application guide for either by hand or polisher:

The protection provided by the Klasse SG should last for a few months. S100/ P21S (same product) could extend that, but since S100 is Carnauba, it comes off after a week or so. So after that, another layer of SG would be good, just don't put the SG on top of freshly applied Carnauba, 'coz it won't bond properly.
Spray on wax like Eagle One WAUD is nice on top of the SG as well if you don't have the time to apply the S100. It's good in between coats.
Another key is good MF cloth, you will get better results.

CLPower, that's a damn long time for S100. Especially outside. How are you gauging it's length of protection?

I got my S100 online for like $14, havent had the chance to use it yet though. I'm gonna clay/AIO/SG/S100 the mustang this weekend, so hopefully I have arms left on sunday.
Here's my car after its first clay job, and its first newb application of AIO. It doesnt smell that nice, but it comes off like butta and def hides alot of swirls. I still REALLY need to get a PC orbital, i'm sure it would save a ton of time & work.
