I have some weird white marks on the hood. Not in the paint, or at least I hope not. It's only in a small area, I'm sure how to explain it
If washing it doesn't get them off...

Would you recommend clay or paint cleaner to remedy the issue?
Would a spray wax once the above is done be enough protection until the next detail??

yea, clay bar should take car of it if its not IN the paint.
