Picked up a bottle of invisible glass last night from pep boys...damn that's the best glass cleaner i've ever used. One application, no streaks and perfectly clear glass.

If you are talking about the stuff made by stoner's (invisible glass) then try cleaning your windows with newspapers... black and white paper along with invisible glass... spray on... wipe off with news paper... you will need a couple of sheets per window.

I've been trying to remember the name of that stuff. I have eagle one 20/20 and someone suggested that instead.

I use Invisible glass, but I wipe it off with a really fine microfiber cloth... similar to what you'd clean glasses with... great stuff =) I made everyone use it for our car wash fundraising project, cause they were using Windex and it was causing streaks all over the windshields...

Hello-

I have my own car-washing business and this is the only product I would use. After the first use I was a believer and this is the only glass cleaner I will buy or use. Like others have said, this is THE BEST glass cleaner available. It leaves the glass perfectly clear and practically invisible. Interesting to see how many others use this stuff...

Why do newspapers work? Seems like the newsprint would get on your windows and it wouldn't be a good idea at all? What's the secret?

Don't know the trick but I thought it had to do with the graphite in the print. Anyway, it's the only stuff that used alone (just news paper) will make your window squeek when clean.

Yes... you are correct. Just that the combo does well.

I too used newspaper only on glass windows and it's amazing how well newspaper works. My dad told me this trick a long time ago.

Me to Works much much better than Eagle One 20/20, I highly recommend Invisible Glass.

20/20 does it's job in only one application, where as Invisible Glass took 2 or 3 applications, but in the end it looks so much better.

I tested it on my back window. First I cleaned with 20/20 on one side. Then I went over that same side with Invisible Glass and it still took off more crud! Very impressive.

Thanx also for the tip

Ahh, good to know. I've got some 'inkless newspaper' (packing paper from u-haul) that I thought might be good, but evidently not if the print is important. Good info.

Invisible glass is cheap--it's about $4 a bottle and lasts for quite a long time.

It's a glass cleaner so it just cleans glass. My gf thought the windows were rolled down a couple of times. That how clean they look.

Thanks Devo. I found a retailer, PartSource in Ontario. The bummer is that they're a good 60 clicks from Toronto...ah, another excuse to go for a long drive

Visorboy you can actually pick up a bottle at Oil Changers in the GTA. They have a number of locations in scarborough, mississauga, north york etc.

Just do a search for them in canada411.com. Make sure to call your particular store first as not all of them carry it.

I got some last week at the local Wal-Mart. I think it was like $3.99 for the can.

Is this a purely cleaning thing that won't leave a coat of something on the windows? If so, I'm going to be all over it.

Yes... will clean your window without leaving anything behind. Read about using newspapers... it makes an even bigger difference.

I've used it on my tints before. No harm, no foul.

Thx.

For your reference, I also picked up a bottle at my friendly neighbourhood Canadian Tire. They also started carrying Meguiar's NXT, but I haven't seen that many bottles since I bought the last one (then again, I haven't been back too often).

Newspaper!

I've never used this Invisible Glass product before, but will run out and buy some soon. However one thing I'll never do is use newspaper to clean windows.

I'm in San Diego and the Union Tribune must use the cheapest of all ink, because when it gets moist, it comes off on your hands - and worse yet - all over the car. I tried using newspaper on my old grey colored I've got the Parchment interior which means the inside window frames are cream colored. I sure don't want newsprint all over that. I'll continue to use clean terry cloth towels and/or micorfibre clothes.
