The importance of pre treating when using NRWS.

Although this is not indicative of my last NRWS cleaning, I felt it was really important to show enthusiasts, what NRWS does when you use it for pretreating. This pic was on my personal pickup (yes, its been through hell the last month, with rain and wind) after a recent daytime shower. This is really what inspired me to come up with the idea of using a 1/2-1 Gal sprayer. (Actually it evolved from a 1.5 Qt garden sprayer.)
As you can see from the pic, the debris has actually been concentrated within the water bead. I would estimate the debris has been contained within an area not much (if any) larger then 15% of the bead. Imagine if the debris on 85% your vehicles surface was pre-cleaned and pre lubricated before you even touched it?!
This is what pretreating with NRWS accomplishes (IMO). It helps to contain and encapsulate dust and debris, before you have even started washing. This allows for safer removal with your wash media. Ultimately, this will help minimize wash marring when using Optimums No Rinse Wash and Shine. Im not saying NRWS is not safe without pretreating, i just think NRWS is safer with a pretreatment!
As always, I would enjoy your comments!!

Patrick, do you think pre-treating with NRWS using a foam gun is just as effective as a sprayer?

I would imagine you would lose the water atomization with a foam gun? You need the "mist" function.
