i took my 97 3.0cl to a car wash yesterday to get it detailed the motherfuckers took it through an automatic wash. o was i so pissed they left scratches all on my hood after they washed it. so now i have my hands set on a nice full exterior detail will post before and after pics.

 

Before you decided to let them do it, did you inquire if it was to be hand washed or auto washed?

 

i told them that i wanted it hand washed but they didnt tell the asshole. they didnt finish the car in the automatic cuz i told them to stop. they finished it by hand and sure as hell didnt detail it.

 

I would be seeking another detailer, at there expense!

 

Even if they hand wash, it will probably get scratched. They fill a big drum in the morning with soapy water and use that for ALL the cars that day, then dump it out at the end of the day. When they do dump it, nothing but dirt comes out... Since they use dirty water for every car after the first, they are just transferring the dirt from car two to car three and so on! Of course some falls to the bottom, but is that what you really want on your car?
