Idiot friend drew a smiley face with car paint on my window...

Soo basically I got in my friends car one day and I saw car paint in his cupholder and i specifically said DONT WRITE ON MY CAR THAT STUFF DOES NOT COME OFF and he's like ok I wont and I told him about how some girl wrote on my car a while ago and it came off but yellow specks were all over my black paint...Then a few days later I got a car wash and wax and then he decides hes gonna draw a smiley face on my drivers side window. It has rained and been in the sun since and its definitely caked on. I can't use a razer because I have tinted windows and i dont wanna mess it up, is there an easier way to remove it without having the paint specks get everywhere? Thanks

Sorry I can't help with the removal of the paint, but I can help you with something else.

Get new friends.

Then he can paint your hood ... etc etc etc ... Hate to say it but get your friend to read this post and all of us will tell him how much of a brainless asshole he is.

Did he do this on the inside of the window?

That makes no sense right there. He wrote on the inside of the window or the outside. If he wrote on the outside, how will razor mess up the tint? And if he wrote on the inside, take the tint off and pay a tint shop 50$ for a new tint for that one window.

how did you let him get in your car and paint the window?

or is that you are thinking that window tint is on the outside of the car?

if its on the exterior of the window, acetone should work. just be careful not to get it anywhere else.

You two should probably just do it already and get it over with. Good luck with the paint, too.

Anyone puts paint on my car and we would be having words. And by "words", I mean a fight. Probably involving a tire iron. Maybe a mace. No one uses a mace anymore. It has a serious effect.

Goto home depot and buy a glass scraper for $2. That'll solve your problems.

lube and a straight razor.. id be willing to bet if you roll up to any tint place and find a guy who is been doing it for a while and is good with the razor, the paint will come right off.

Pay to have the window retinted... better yet have your friend pay.... its not that complicated. just get it done.

Yes, yes, people, we'd all beat up anyone who did stuff to our car.

Wait, was this spray-on application tint? It goes on the outside.

If so, you will need to chill the window to below 32 degrees F and then scrape the paint off. Otherwise the tint will come off, too.

Let's see if he chills his car...
