I love detailing so much, I took on a crew
I had a massive detail to undertake this 4th of July. Luckily, I had some volunteers to make things a little easier.
Unfortunately, their enthusiasm didn't equate to results. I ended up doing most of the work myself, even after I took on the task of training them in the correct methods. Vertical reach was an issue, too.

Burning Brakes
I never let my kids touch the car when I am washing/detailing it. I can't tell you how many times they drop the sponges on the ground. Too much time invested in getting rid of scratches, swirls to have them re-introduced. Kind of anal, but detailing is a lot of work.
I usually will let my son do the tires and let rinse the car or I have him wash his bike with his own bucket while I do the cars. He just likes being out there working w/Dad.

They volunteered without me asking. Notice they weren't washing the TL. And notice the dents. I'm not concerned about any potential damage they could do.
Plus, they followed directions great.

Your girls are so cute. They look like they were having too much fun! Enjoy this time buddy-it goes way too fast. You'll blink and they'll be grown up.
