So last night I parked my car outside and locked it up as I normally do. I didn't realize that I forgot to close my sunroof. I went to bed and woke up to a puddle of water in my car. My leather seats were soaked and my cup holder was full of water...roughly an inch...enough to kill the cell phone I left in the cup holder. I tried to dry up the water as much as I could. What should I do? I know the seats absorbed lots of water and I couldn't get the water out of them. I dried up the carpet as much as I could. Any suggestions?

close the sunroof next time, get a new phone, maybe turn the heated seat on?

Hate to tell you this... but I didn't take my Mustang to a professional for cleaning and dying and my seats mildewed... like woah!!!!

So, my suggestion would be to take it to a professional you trust... also, the electronics in the seat could get ruined if left wet... IMVHO

Chances are your leather will turn hard after it dries. I would recommend a liberal application of Leatherique to restore it...seen it many times unfortunately.
