I have my first detail job tonight for a body shop

Doing some work for a small body shop, owner said he'll have like 1 or 2 cars a week. i'm going to do them after my day job lol

going tonight after work. he said its a buick that he almost painted half of. so i really only have to work on half and he said the inside just needs a wipe down/vacuum.

wish me luck this could turn into something good

I finally picked up a rotary about 6 months ago and I gotta say if your going to do this professionally, it will make life much easier. Heavily swirled cars just take too much time to buff out with a PC. I've gone from several minutes in one area to several seconds with removing swirls. And really the simple rules are don't keep it in one spot and keep it flat and you'll be fine.

Though I havent done 1 car other then my own cars recently with it ever since I got this new job

lol easiest money ever. na but the car really wasnt bad at all. 2007 buick lacrosse. he had painted the hood, front bumper, and whole passagner side, rear bumper. and it was white

so all i had to do was driver side doors, trunk and roof. and the inside literally took me like 10 minutes to wipe down.

the guy is a really nice guy paid me on the spot, said everything looked great and he'll have another car for me next week.
