how to wash MF towels?
properautocare.com sells a mf wash soap.. throw them in the washing machine with that.. dont put in any other kind of towels (not cotton) or it will grab all the lint.. and wash it warm.. let them air dry...
if you dont wanna buy that wash just try to use the mildest detergent you can find.. nothing with bleach in it or fabric softners... the most basic kind u can get...

I was mine w/ cold water, in the gentle cycle. I also use a mild degergent and NO fabric softener. I was them by themselves. I have a clean area to hand them up to dry. I don't like running them in the dryer.

I use Hot/Warm water w/ Woollite, but have also used liquid tide
I dry them if I have a clean dryer, but the one in my apt complex is filled w/ sand so I hang dry if I do it at home.

I wash in the hottest water I have available, with typical laundry detergent, then dry on warm.....(Not like I have a shortage of them) But Iam still using MFs from over 3 yrs ago............

I agree with the previous advice. To wit: wash them separately from other material.
I use Woolite and hot water in the washer. It is difficult to clean them because of their hook-like surface. They grap and hold on to everything.
I dry them in the dryer but they tend to shrink at the edges. I hesitate to hang them outside because of picking up airborne debris or insects.
If any of my cleaning supplies hit the ground in sandy Florida, I usually throw them out or use them for wheels and such. I won't use them on the painted surfaces again.
But then I'm anal about such things.
