How to remove spray paint from wheels?
long story short, i plastidipped my wheels and then used rattle can on top.
time to put the wheels back to original color, soaked in wd40 and power washed it off. everything came off great, except for the inside of the spokes. it's clear that i didn't lay down the plastidip evenly enough on these sections, so it's basically just spray paint on my wheels and it's a real pain to get off. only my fingernail seems to have an impact.
anybody have any suggestions on a non abrasive solvent i can use? or any other methods? i've read paint thinner, goof off, toothpaste, oven cleaner, etc...but the goal is to NOT damage the finish on my wheels, just remove the purple paint.
i'm open to any and all suggestions...i just don't want this to take forever. it took me 20 mins to take it off of ONE spoke from one wheel last night, i have 7 spokes per wheel...you do the math.
here is what i'm stuck with, below.
and the removal process that worked very well for 90% of the paint.

Hmmm. When you spray regular spray paint over plasti dip, they bond together and practically turn in to really hard spray paint.
You're prob notgonna get that off without some serious scraping or sand blasting and refinishing. You could try goo gone or obliterate but idk..
You could also try nail polish remover as long as your wheels aren't painted.
