How to remove light scratches/swirls on rims
I have some light scratches / swirl marks here and there on my rims and wanted to know if there was any way to remove them.
2003 S type 17's to be exact. Any type of polisher or wheel cleaner you can recommend? |
Post up some photos so we can see what we're dealing with.

If you can zoom in you can see like a light haze almost as if the rim is stained. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...c35c8bd258.jpg I know I cant do anything about the deep scratch here but notice all the light scratches behind the deep one. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...a223c8d716.jpg More light scratches and stained water spots. |

Its like a light stain haze that is really bugging me here and there on the rims. "Stained haze", if that makes any sense lol. |

Treat just like paint.
Meguiars light polish with an orbital should fix those up. |

^^ :werd:
same advice for paint correction. Start with the mildest polish and slowly work up to more agressive till you're satisfied with the results. |
