How to remove interior scuffs

I'm sure others with the ebony interior have experienced our
Acura brand easy scuff surfaces. The bottom of my drivers side
door now has plenty of scuffs where my foot sometimes bumps
as I get out. Any ideas how to remove these? Have tried cleaners but suspect will need something that's a mild abrasive as well.

Thanks,

Smeg

Use a very light rubbing compound.

does the compound idea really work or is there any real working solution to interior scuffs and scratches?

I've never heard about using "compound" on the interior -- that's all I'm saying.

If you are just talking light scuffmarks from shoes, etc -- try using a microfiber towel. You soak the towel in water, and ring it out, then just wipe the surface. I've gotten minor scuffs out of the door panel with that exact treatment.

If you have "scuffs" that have not abraded the surface of the vinyl, but have embedded dirt, you could try some of the interior cleaner (or similar product).

Interior cleaner:

Microfiber towel kit:

(I use the window/plastic microfiber towel on the glass and plastic on the inside of the car. I do have microfiber towels from other vendors and even Pep Boys carries microfiber towels.)

What kind of compound did you use? Where did you buy it at?

I've actually had pretty good success with the Zaino leather cleaner on the lower part of the door. I didn't know what else to use so I figured I'd give it a shot.
