I have Taupe (i think!, its the lightest color?) interior and always gets dirty when the kids get it, so i usually end up cleaning it every 2 weeks.

I clean my interior leather every 2 weeks, I have never heard of damaging the leather with a basic wipe down with a conditioner (leatherique pristine clean/303). Unless your using a nail brush to remove stains or scrubbing the sh$t out of it?

Leather cleaning:
You can use the woolite solution (1 part water, 6 parts woolite) and clean the leather once a month without an issue. Just be sure to follow up with a damp towel and dry the leather properly. Condition afterwards!
If you use the Leatherique system, you can clean once a month with prestine clean, just be sure to use the oil in 6 months!

Thanks for the tidbit about the leatherique rejuvenator oil.
However, I always thought the "prestine clean" had some of that "oils" there inside the mixture (I tend to notice a oily layer on top before i shake it up)?

it does have some conditioners in it, but not as much as the rejuvienator oil. The leather will dry out over time; the rejuvenator peaks up the oils in it say 100%. Then 1 month goes by and it's at 90%, you use prestine clean and it gets it to about 95%, then 1 more month and it's at 85%, prestien clean brings it back up to 90% and so on. (its just an example to illustrate)

I follow a similar routine with the Leatherique products. I usually aim for Rejuvenator Oil once or twice a year and Prestine Clean every month or two.
I'll try to UV protect on a monthly basis.
