My drivers side headlight is extremely murky and not clear anymore like my passenger side headlight which looks brand new. Why does this happen to headlights?How much should I pay to get it sanded down and polished for one headlight? I know you will say DIY but no time right now with law school starting

yeah thats why im wondering what the causes of murky headlights are because one is perfectly clear the other is pretty bad.
