how much

So a friend of mine found out I was doing detailing on the side(for family) and now she wants her cars done...the problem I am having is how much do I charge her..

she wants a full detail(atleast I think its full in my opinion). wash/dry/clay/wax/clean windows for the exterior and for the interior she wants a vaccum/leather cleaned and protected/dash dressing...

so what should I charge her on a hummer h3 and a 2005 c class benz..

If there's no paint correction I would say:

H3 - $150
Benz C - $100

if your not doing any paint correction, it shouldnt take you more than 2-3 hrs per car....if you use a machine to do the wax/sealant maybe less....

wow, I need to work on my efficiency then, I was thinking that would take me about 5 hours a car...I guess for a somewhat noob that is probably about right...how long does it usually take you to do each process?? i figured:

wash-1hr
clay-1hr
dry-1hr
wax-.5hrs
interior-1.5 hrs

wow that is amazing efficiency, so that will be my next step in my quest to be a good detailer...but I always have to remember, quality not quantity, and that you can not rush perfection...

Don't worry, I detail cars as a hobby and I usually take my sweet time. Every once and a while I'll detail someone else's car and they'll have to leave the car for Saturday and Sunday.

Certainly.
Duragloss TPP may be a better performer for you though. Your not going to get the real benefits of Poliseals light abrasives by hand though.
