How many time can you reuse applicator pads?
Hi guys, I was wondering how many times can you use the applicators like the foam, terry, and microfiber pads? Do you wash them after every use? Please enlight me on this subject. Thanks in advance.

After using, I soak them on a bucket of water with pure Dawn soap, then wring out the gunk and then either throw them in the washer (for MF towels and rags) or let them air dry (foam pads and bonnets). Dawn kinda "degreases" them. Works like a charm.
Those round blue foam/ terry pads seem to accumulate the waxes/ polishes after a while and become harder to clean. Just toss them and get new ones.

I wash them with water, and put each applicator in a seperate and labeled zip lock bag.
they stay moist in there and I dont have to go to all that trouble cleaning them..
that seems to work..
if they get real dirty, then ill do a deep clean and reuse,
in any case, they are still pretty cheap

By the way, this sounds like a question for www.women.com or something out of my fiance's beauty magazine..

I do what Vicman does - pre-soak them in a strong alkaline cleaner, then machine wash them. If, like me, you want to keep silicones off of collector cars that may need re-paints, I segregate the silicone care products from the rest, by color, or permanent markers and such. Then wash them separately. My wife freaks, but i buy plusher and softer towels ("seconds") than we use in our home. She laughs at me, but as i point out: "Flesh can heal - paint can not".
