After today's rainy day in Florida, thinking of washing my 4 day old TSX this weekend with my pinnacle shampoo wash. Was hoping to be able to wait longer but hey may as well start washing it.

 

Go for it! Most folks wash once every 7-10 days. See post #5 on this thread about care and upkeep on a new vehicle.

Yeah, wash it as often as you want. Make sure you apply a wax or sealant too. I wash every 7 days and wax every month.

 

Wash whenever it gets dirty. And don't go for those spinning brush car washes, they WILL kill your finish. Go to a coin-op wash and bring your own bucket and mitt and hand wash and dry.

My "mini-arsenal" I keep in my trunk:

-small kiddie bucket
-sheepskin mitt (wrap in sandwich bag)
-small bottle of Armor All car wash soap
-Meg's QD (FI #34)
-MF cloths and Towels (in a clear Rubbermaid box)
-Meg's Endurance Tire Gel (In an Zip-Loc bag)

All this stuff fits in the bucket and velcro at the bottom of the bucket keeps it from sliding around in the trunk.

So whenever I get the urge to wash, I just look for a wash bay and spray away.
