I just got my 07 WDP last week and I am now wondering when I need to begin care and at what level. My last car was a piece of (*&^@ but I really want to keep this one in great condition. I live in the NE (boston) and weather can be a bit**.

What should I be doing on what basis?

Also, can you suggest a good PC to buy.

 

No time like the present and this should give a you general idea for the exterior. Clay, polish (pre-wax cleaner or a light abrasive) and seal to protect. Once that's done, wash every 7-10 days and follow with a QD. Once a month, use a spray type wax to extend the initial layer of sealant/wax. Every 3 months apply a new coat of sealant. Use this process during the Fall to carry you through the winter months and again in the Spring for the upcoming summer. I'm sure the other regulars will chime in. Hopefully this thread will provide the answer you're looking for.
