How is Four Star???

So i'm trying to find a GOOD clay treatment to get. How is the Four Star Ultimate Clay Combo Kit??? Has anyone tried it and can you really tell a difference when using Four Star?

Also which clay should i get... the Fine Grade or the regular as i just mentioned above?? Please let me know a.s.a.p. so i can place an order by mid-day today and hopefully receive it by tomorrow so i can detail my car.

Thanks.

I've heard that Four Star UPP was a great product. Not sure about the rest of the line...

It's pretty good, but I would try the Autopia clay bar, really good. Go to autopia-carcare.com. Also you can go to Autopia.org for alot of information on different brands of detailing products. I believe there is a coupon also for Autopia-carcare for new orders.

AcuraCl1...

Are you referring to the clay bar by Sonus on their website? If so this is the one that i have. I have the Ultra-Fine Detailing Clay. So is this sufficient enuff? Also as far as a clay lubricant, i didn't know it came w/o that. So could i go with a different brand of lubricant for the clay? Because i was trying to do it tomorrow.

Yes, I was referring to the Sonus one. And yes you can go with a different brand of lubricant.

Personally, the bets claybar I have used is regular old ClayMagic tha you can find in many autoparts stores. It does a nice job picking up contaminants, and didnt leave bits of itself all over my fingers, and the paint.

I love 4star UPP. I use it on my car over Klasse AIO. Leaves a great shine, and the absolute slickest finish I have ever experienced. Doesnt last as long as Klasse SG, but looks wetter, and is much easier to apply and remove.

BIG fan of 4 Star products here. Started using them after a recommendation from ExcelDetail. I heard from the local detailers store that 4 Star Clay is just re-packaged ClayMagic. But I would recommend going to ExcelDetail.com and getting the 200 gram clay bar. Just a lot more to work with, and if you start out by breaking the bar in half or thirds, if you drop it, you will have some fresh clay to switch to after you chuck the piece that you dropped. Just my
